Bernville Tailored Wellness Programs
Taking Care of Pets’ Needs at Every Stage of Life
Annual wellness testing allows our doctors in Bernville to identify conditions and diseases in your pet before signs may be evident. Additionally, screening tests provide information on what’s “normal” for your pet and allow your doctor to quickly evaluate changes in his or her biology.
We recommend that you bring your pet in for wellness testing on an annual basis because pets age roughly five to seven times faster than humans. Because of this, it is vital that they are screened for diseases and conditions at least once a year.
Other benefits of enrolling in a tailored wellness program are:
- It will save you money:
At Bernville Veterinary Clinic, our wellness bundles are extremely affordable and discounted. We are working with an outside laboratory to keep testing packages inexpensive. Additionally, by testing, your doctor will be able to identify critical patterns in your pet’s biological makeup. Ultimately, early detection will enable an accurate diagnosis more quickly, potentially saving you thousands of dollars in tests and critical care.
- It will save your pet’s life:
When you bring your pet in for annual testing, your doctor will be able to spot signs of kidney disease, liver failure, diabetes, and much more—long before there are any symptoms. With early (pre-symptom) disease treatment, your pet could live a longer, healthier life.

Our Specially Designed Wellness Programs
Because each pet needs different treatment depending on its age, we’ve developed three specific programs you can enroll in.
Puppy & Kitten Wellness (The First Year of Life)
Your young dogs and cats deserve extra attention and care, and our puppy and kitten wellness programs provide the advice you need. Our veterinarians in Bernville not only check your puppy or kitten to make sure he or she is growing right, but we share our best practices for raising healthy pets that live long healthful lives.
Junior Wellness (One to Seven Years of Age)
For dogs and cats that are less than seven years of age, junior wellness provides our veterinarians with an important baseline set of results from key diagnostic tests. As time goes on, we compare new results with the old to uncover hidden changes in your pet’s health.
Senior wellness (Greater Than Seven Years of Age)
Older pets need special tests and exams to catch age-related diseases such as diabetes, cancer, kidney disease, Cushing’s, and others. In addition to the detailed physical exam, diagnostic blood work, and urine testing, our veterinarians may also recommend an ultrasound, electrocardiograph (ECG), or radiographs (x-rays).
