Dr. Heather Westfall saved one of our cat's lives through emergency surgery and was always there to answer all of our anxious questions during a week of waiting for test results to come back. She has cared for all of our cats for years, and treats them gently and lovingly in the exam room, never speaking too loudly or moving too fast. She clearly explains all of the issues involved, and all of our treatment options, taking as much time as necessary, and often sends us emails with more information she thinks might be useful. She is a gem. We are so very grateful for Dr. Westfall.

My babies love coming here. They rush out of the car ready to go inside. They do all kinds of tricks that they haven't done at home. This is like their second home, and one place that I know they are safe. The people there are like their second Moms.

We bring our dog Max to Bernville once a month at least. The service we receive is stellar. Maxie loves Tammy along with the entire Spa staff. There is nothing better than feeling comfortable with the kennel we leave our dog at when needed.

I've been coming to Bernville Vet Clinic since I moved to this area in 2002. I have had many pets, some of which needed to be sent to cat heaven and they were always sympathetic and caring for me at the time. Always have had good experiences when I need to visit.
I have known Dr. Pickett for 12 years and I know her to be a woman of compelling integrity, character and professionalism. She shares genuine concern and caring for her patients (as well as their pet parents). She practices a holistic, personal approach to pet care, has a remarkable attention to detail and provides understandable, diagnostic explanations of "the situation at hand."

Dr. Pickett is a gem. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable in discussing my dog, Valentino, in a rational and meaningful way but she is calm, thoughtful and compassionate as well. This is everything one would want in a vet. The staff is also pleasant and accommodating and usually have a special rug out for Valentino when he enters the exam room so that he will not slip and fall. Sometimes Dr. Pickett is at the front door to greet us. An extra bonus! Needless to say Valentino looks forward to his visits and particularly to his “culinary” rewards.
There's a new vet in town and she's amazing. We took our dog to her after nights of dry heaves, severe tension, perceived pain and sleepless nights for all. My daughter was extremely worried. Dr. Lee Pickett of the Bernville Veterinary Clinic is here to help. You might know her column "Ask the Vet's Pets," Fridays in the Reading Eagle. Straight to work, with friendly profile questions, loving and knowing touch, and focused testing. She quickly determined the cause and prescribed a progressive, stepped treatment program. Amazingly simple, no need for complication, using her obvious wisdom to heal our animal friend. It's a pleasure to witness and interact with such a high quality individual. A professional in every sense of the word.
We have been bringing our pets to Bernville Vet Clinic for many years. Peter our 17-year-old cat, Leo our 12-year-old Jack Russell and up until his passing last year, Bailey our Loveable "mutt" have always received great care by Dr. Steve, Dr. Heather and the rest of the staff!
Currently we are fostering a rescued Pitt bull mix (through www.foreverhomerescue.com) and if we end up adopting her (as she seems to have already made us her own) we will bring her there also!
We drive nearly an hour to come to this clinic because prices of services are much more reasonable than our local veterinarians and of course we are always happy with the staff and service our pets receive.
