Look What Desiree Found!

Desiree has been a veterinary technician assistant with Bernville Veterinary Clinic since 2002. She graduated from Penn State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences. Last week, while on her nightly walk with her right-hand hound, Dobbie, Desiree happened across this beautiful 6-month-old kitten, who walked right up to them and started purring away. Scarlett, as Desiree named the kitten, was examined and vaccinated by Dr. Pickett. Everyone is charmed by her extra toes, her playfulness and her lovable nature. Today, Scarlett will be spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed and ready for her forever home.

There are 2 Stevie Wonders: A musical genius and a dog available for adoption through Grey Muzzle!

I would like to introduce myself. I am a distinguished older gentleman who is at least 10 years old. My name is Stevie Wonder. I am neutered and I have clean teeth. Well, the few I have left are clean! I am sight impaired, but that doesn’t stop me. I like to be petted and sleep in my little bed. My favorite activity is relaxing. I would be a good companion for an older person or someone with a quiet home. I know I can’t see, but I deserve a home just as much as everyone else! No small kids for me! We LOVE Grey Muzzle!

As a 7-year-old, Chancey was brought to the shelter in terrible condition. She had not been groomed for a very long time so her coat was matted all over and her nails were so long that they grew into her pads. Chancey had skin, eye and ear infections, and a thyroid condition. She went into an amazing foster home through the ARL’s Grey Muzzle program and was treated for all of her health conditions. Because her skin condition was so severe, her brow drooped over her eyes – so she is scheduled to have a brow lift! Chancey found a forever home this week!
